In 2005, SAMCA Group began to develop concentrated solar power generation projects by applying thermoelectric technologies.
As a result, Renovables Samca has built and now operates two concentrated solar power plants: CST Florida and CST La Dehesa, both located in Badajoz and with a total installed capacity of 100 MWe, positioning us as one of the leading independent producers of concentrated solar power, able to supply the electrical demand of more than 100,000 households.
