SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA MINERA CATALANO ARAGONESA (SAMCA) has received a grant from the European Union under the NextGenerationEU Fund, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for the SAMCA ONDA PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR POWER PLANT project within the program of incentives linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, managed by the Valencian Community, through the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE).
Total investment: 3,629,665.65 €.
Amount of aid: 345,000.00 €.
Performance Description:
The project has been carried out in SAMCA ONDA, in KM.5, CV-20, 12200 ONDA, CASTELLÓN, and consists of the following actions:
Installation of 11,310 photovoltaic modules of 545 Wp of unit power, 6,163.95 kWp in total between the roof and floor of the industrial plant.
Installation of 4,945.00 kW of nominal power in inverters with 100% utilization of the energy generated.
This action generates savings in the plant’s electricity consumption through renewable solar electricity generation, avoiding the generation of greenhouse gases and the consumption of natural resources from non-renewable energy sources.
